We met on a dating app. Tinder, to be more specific. Tyler was in Tahlequah, and Jose was visiting family back in Guatemala. We talked for a month and planned our first date, where Jose would drive two hours to see Tyler. The distance was a bit strange at first, but we quickly realized we had found someone worth the drive. After a few dates, just before Tyler's trip to Europe with his mom, we made it official. Our best date ever was at Smitty's Garage for burgers, followed by a trip to Hobby Lobby, and ending at our now favorite date night spot: the movie theater.

A couple of months later, Jose found a job in Tulsa and moved, shortening the distance between us. As time went by, we realized we couldn't live without each other. You know when people say your soulmate is your best friend? As cheesy as it sounds, we are best friends.

We love going to the gym, cooking, baking, playing video games, and hanging out with friends together. Now, we are excited to keep making memories, staying healthy, and living the rest of our lives together and forever.
